Contractor objections

The practical answers before you put compliance on a system.

If you run a licensed trade team, you need more than a polished demo. Here is what CycleProof does, what it does not do, and what your operation should verify before the next renewal cycle.

A field guide for contractors and staffing operators evaluating their next compliance workflow.

The short version

Five questions worth answering before rollout.

The details below are written for the person who owns the roster, the renewal calendar, and the operational consequences when a credential slips.

01

Budget

What does CycleProof cost, and are CE course fees included?

CycleProof is a per-seat monthly subscription, so the software cost follows the technicians and operating scope you need to manage. The published tiers are Starter at $79 per seat per month for one shop, Growth at $199 per seat per month for multi-state teams, and custom Enterprise for unlimited technicians.

CE course fees are separate provider charges. Your CycleProof subscription covers the compliance workflow; a course provider bills its own one-time course fee when a technician enrolls.

02

Control

How does CycleProof handle technician and license data?

Each account is isolated to its own company data, and roster access is scoped to the people and workflows that need it. CycleProof keeps the operational surface narrow: technician, license, renewal, and CE tracking data rather than a broad employee-record system.

Authentication and session handling are managed by the application framework, with access controls around company and admin workflows. That is a practical operating boundary—not a promise of a certification or a guarantee that removes your own security responsibilities.

03

Verification

How do I verify the quality of a CE course?

CycleProof is the tracking and mapping layer. It surfaces state-approved continuing education courses from independent accredited providers; it is not the course provider and does not turn a course into an approved one.

Before enrollment, operators should verify the course and provider against the relevant state licensing board for the technician’s trade and jurisdiction. The CE requirements directory is a reference point, not a replacement for that check.

Browse the CE requirements directory.
04

Implementation

How long does CycleProof setup take?

Setup is a direct walkthrough with your actual roster. We can import your technicians, map each person to their trade and state, and put the renewal view in front of the operator who owns it. That means the team can start using the workflow the same day the roster and mapping are ready, without waiting for a long systems project.

The exact pace depends on the roster and the quality of the source data. The goal is a focused operational start—not an unsupported universal implementation SLA.

Live reference

Which states and trades does CycleProof cover today?

Coverage is driven by the live rule engine, not a static marketing number. The current verified totals come from the same public source that powers the coverage directory.

CycleProof publishes the verified (trade, state) combinations it supports today in the public CE Requirements directory. The roadmap expands that rule engine as new states and trades are verified, so the directory is the live source of truth rather than a fixed coverage promise.
